In Ouistreham, France, dubbed a city housing "invisible migrants" by the media, refugees caught in the cracks of the international refugee regime urgently need sleeping bags to ensure their warmth, offering a lifeline for respite from the elements, the feeling of cosiness, and the preservation of dignity while navigating displacement and awaiting resolution to their status.

Whilst many women and children are able to take shelter in a nearby squat, young men selflessly choose to sleep in nearby forests to ensure their is room for the children.
