What we do
We’re a small ‘n’ mighty UK-based NGO that lives to serve our war-torn brothers and sisters around the globe, providing frontline evacuations, humanitarian aid, and self-reliance for refugees.
We operate in some of the world’s most volatile conflict zones. Our strength lies in reaching those beyond the reach of most NGOs, delivering life-saving aid through our extensive global network. We also work on self-reliance projects, providing formal education for displaced children. All of our work is mainly powered by our Aid Shop - an innovative online platform where donors purchase the survival items refugees need most. Each purchase is fulfilled locally by our teams, meaning aid reaches people instantly. Donors know exactly where their money goes, while we avoid the delays, costs, and border complications caused by drastic overnight changes in customs processes caused by events like Brexit, Covid, wars, natural disasters or road and border closures.
***
We run a small chain of charity shops in Kent called “Vintage Emporiums,” which form the backbone of our income.
Year on year, we demonstrate success in ensuring that 100% of all donated or fundraised funds go directly to charitable causes.

Frontline Evacuations
Transporting the most vulnerable individuals to safer areas, away from where conflicts are at their most precarious.
Humanitarian Aid
Responding in real-time by serving those escaping war and natural disasters, by providing life-saving aid purchased locally to where it is distributed via our efficient and transparent Aid Shop model.
Self-Reliance
Offering children an education they can build a future on, and up-skilling displaced young adults (in the UK and abroad) into employment.
Emergency Evacuations
Since the war in Ukraine escalated in February 2022, we have been evacuating individuals with reduced mobility, who are unable to flee unassisted due to age, disabilities, and illnesses, from towns and villages where the conflict is at its most precarious.
Online Aid Shop
Our online aid shop allows you to purchase most needed items for people in need. Add your chosen items to your basket and checkout just like you would any other e-commerce store. We employ refugees as local distributors, who buy the items locally, who deliver the item within hours if required.
Zaa’tari Kids Village
We work closely with our partners to run an education centre for displaced children in Za’aatari Village, Jordan. The school is now open full-time, with our focus now on building permanent structures and purchasing land for a sports field.
Vintage Emporiums
We now have several “Vintage Emporium” charity shops in Kent. All of the items in our stores are kindly donated with the proceeds going directly to supporting our missions. Please get in touch with us if you’d like to volunteer!
Furniture Collections & House Clearances
We can come to your house to collect furniture or arrange an entire house clearance free of charge. All of the items we pick up will be sold in one of our shops or online and the profit goes to supporting our missions.
Aid Deliveries
In October 2015 we took our first aid delivery out to the Balkans. Since then we’ve collected and delivered aid to countless places including Greece, Lebanon, Jordan and Turkey. Recently, they’ve become a bit more tricky to arrange due to Brexit and Covid, so we’ve shifted our focus towards providing aid via our online aid shop instead, which enables quicker deliveries, for a fraction of the operational costs.
Make a donation.
With your donations, we were able to buy land in Zaa’tari village in Jordan. The Education Centre now has a future. Will you help us build permanent structures?
