This includes around 3.6 million refugees from Syria. While efforts have been made to receive, support, and host refugees and migrants in Turkey, life is still a struggle for many.

We support refugees living in the Mersin and Adana areas of Turkey. Most refugees here are from Syria and many live within the local community. With little financial support from the Turkish government and very few NGOs working on the ground, there’s a lack of daily essentials. Thanks to your purchases, we can help provide staple food and hygiene items to support refugee families.

We work closely with Turkish charity, Acting For Change Turkey, funding the wages of their displaced aid workers, to buy these items locally. Not only does this put money back into the local economy, it also means the aid is being provided by the people who best know what’s needed there.
