Many refugees flee with just the clothes on their back, and months of being in-situ will take its toll on even the sturdiest boots and coats. This is especially the case for refugees camping and sleeping rough in areas with cold, wet weather and, in northern France, where the local authorities regularly destroy and confiscate what little property the refugees have.

There are some fantastic NGOs on the ground providing clothing but there’s often a shortage of particular sizes or new items like underwear. Help a refugee stay warm and dry by purchasing comfortable, clean and dry shoes or clothes below.
